Did you know the designer of the Oxford Community Center, formerly the Oxford School, was the renowned architect Henry Powell Hopkins? Hopkins (1891-1984) designed many buildings on the University of Maryland College Park campus, The Washington College in Chestertown campus, and numerous other significant structures throughout the state of Maryland. The Oxford School, now the Oxford Community Center, was built in 1928.

The 14th Annual Oxford Day will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2008.
