David Pellegrini

David Pellegrini is a Clinical Psychologist who took up oil painting with great enthusiasm in mid-life. He works within the representational tradition of artistic expression. In both his portraiture and landscape painting, his style is expressive and his paintings are filled with color and light. He is particularly drawn to the local landscape of Maryland’s eastern shore, with its broad skies, open fields, and waterways. He credits a number of mentors in his artistic journey, most especially Diane Tesler and Gavin Glakas, with whom he has studied intensively over the years.
