Kenneth Rose

Born in Texarkana, AR, Ken Rose has always had an interest in photography. Using Kodak throw-away cameras and point and shoot cameras throughout his military and trucking careers, his photography had always been a hobby. The hobby became more serious in 2017 with the purchase of a Nikon D3400 DSLR. He used magazines and YouTube videos to self-teach himself landscape and wildlife photography art.

Ken and his wife, Tammy, have lived in Shelter Island, NY, the Poconos in Pennsylvania and now reside in Easton, MD where he is a full-time photographer and gives kayak tours/workshops. Ken loves the Eastern shore of Maryland. The ocean sunrises, the wildlife opportunities, the farmlands and the watermen of the area all capture his interest. He hopes that he shows the love of this area through his art.

Ken’s work can be found in various St Michaels and Easton businesses and has won local and International awards.
