Dr. Jonathan F. Lillard, D.D.S., F.A.I.T., F.A.A.I.D., is a distinguished dentist, educator,
and pioneer in oral implantology with a career spanning more than four decades. A
graduate of the University of Maryland and Georgetown University School of Dentistry,
he served as Senior Dental Officer in the U.S. Navy before establishing a highly
regarded private practice from 1974 to 2020.

A former professor of operative dentistry at Georgetown, Dr. Lillard became a national
leader in implant research and design, earning fellowships in major implant academies
and patenting the Osteolink Dental Implant, which achieved FDA clinical trial status. He
lectured nationally on implant dentistry and practice management and published more
than 50 professional articles.

Active in community service, he has volunteered at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic
since 2007 and now contributes extensively to cultural programs in Oxford, Maryland,
where he and his wife, Charlotte, have lived for more than 20 years. He is the author of
All Roads Lead to Hastings-on-Hudson (2025) and is the proud father of three children
and grandfather of five.
