Naomi Clark-Turner

Born and brought up in the south-east of England, Naomi has been painting and drawing her entire life. On moving to the US in 2002, she settled in Chadds Ford, PA, where she studied with the artist Karl J. Kuerner III and began showing and selling her artwork. She moved to Maryland full-time in 2019.

Originally working in watercolor, she also paints in oils and enjoys the additional variety of working in pastels, gouache and graphite. The Chesapeake Bay is a constant inspiration for many of her paintings and she is drawn to the luminosity found in landscapes created by the early morning and late afternoon sun. In contrast, she is also fascinated by architecture, urban scenes and the busyness of city life.

She is currently Vice President of the Working Artists Forum in Easton, a member of the St Michaels Art League and teaches at the Academy Art Museum in Easton, MD. She lives in St Michaels, MD with her husband.
