Get Ready to Dance: “Bailando con las Estrellas” Comes to the Eastern Shore
Mark your calendars for a night of fun, food, and fancy footwork! In celebration of
Hispanic Heritage Month, the Oxford Community Center (OCC) and the Chesapeake
Multicultural Resource Center (ChesMRC) are teaming up to bring you “Bailando con las
Estrellas” (Dancing with the Stars) on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Doors open at 6:30 PM,
and you won’t want to miss it!
“Bailando con las Estrellas” is not just about the dancing; it’s about rallying together to support
the valuable programs and initiatives of two deserving organizations.
“This event is a chance for our community to come together and enjoy a lively, fun-filled
evening while supporting local arts and culture,” said Liza Ledford, Executive Director of the
Oxford Community Center. Matthew Peters, Executive Director of ChesMRC, added, “We’re
thrilled to partner with OCC to celebrate the diverse talents and cultural richness of our area.”
