A historical Musical Drama starring William Daniels, Howard da Silva, Donald Madden, John Cullem, Ken Howard, and Blythe Danner.
The film is a fictionalized account of the event leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Summer 1776.
Some dialogue and lyrics were taken directly from letters and memoirs of the actual participants of the Second Continental Congress.
