For me, learning to draw and paint was a dream deferred until mid-life. Having finally answered the call, I have been fortunate to be taught and mentored by Diane Tesler and Gavin Glakas, two extraordinary artists and teachers. I work primarily in oils, as well as with charcoal, graphite, and pastel. My subject matter includes portrait and figure, landscape, and still life, all done in a representational style.

Visionary American painter Charles Burchfield said, “The only divine reality is the unspeakable beauty of the world.” It is such beauty, as well as its fragility and temporal nature, that draws my eye and interest.”
