Linda Luke
I paint when my heart wants to sing!
Linda, an internationally recognized fine arts professional, was raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, but has lived in many states. Her first solo exhibit opened on her 21st birthday at the Widener Museum of Art. Linda’s realistic watercolors and oils reflect the Brandywine tradition, focusing on landscapes but also including people, animals, flowers, and still life. She’s had a long career, commissioned by clients like Hershey Trust, Hilton, Franklin Mint, and Sterling Vineyards, with work in collections worldwide. Her largest commission, a 98-foot by 7-foot mural at the Association of Baptists Worldwide Evangelism, took 5 years to complete.
Linda lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and dog, Josie, and often says, “I’m happy when I paint. I hope that shows!”
