Pat Lang

Pat Lang is primarily a self-taught artist. She began oil painting in her late teens, learning through trial and error; visiting galleries to study famous works; and reading art instruction publications to master her own personal realistic style. Pat has exhibited in numerous art shows throughout Maryland, including one-woman shows. Her memberships include Working Artists Forum, Maryland Arts Council, Talbot County Arts Council, and Art League of Ocean City.

Pat paints a variety of subjects and likes to challenge herself with new inspirations, from landscapes, seascapes, still life to animals, both domestic and wildlife.

Pat has held numerous chair and volunteer positions, to include as an instructor for the Institute for Adult Learning at Chesapeake College, and Publicity Chairperson for both Working Artists Forum and St. Michaels Art League.
