Kathy Kopec

After raising a family on the Jersey Shore & retiring from her career as an OR nurse, Kathy decided it was time to pursue her love of art & found Easton the perfect place to do it. Besides the beauty & serenity of the area she found a vibrant art community to nurture her pursuit. She has studied for years with Nancy Tankersley & currently takes mentoring classes with Bernie Dellario.

She is a member of the St. Michaels Art League, The Working Artists Forum, the Academy Art Museum & has been juried into the Oxford Fine Arts Show & Local Color over several years & has won several awards.Through her paintings she hopes to have the viewer stop, look, & feel an emotional response. Her works can be seen at The Artists Gallery in Chestertown.
